OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
I still like to believe boxing isn't dead. I prefer it much more than MMA. Who you got on May 2?

Mayweather is a Ray Watts but has an amazing defense so I give the edge to him.

RE: OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
Mayweather will control the fight with his head movement and tempo as he always does but Pacquiao has a punchers chance.

I fear Mayweather will control the tempo and coast while Pacquiao won't be able to threaten him and thus it's a 147-138 type of score.

Boxing isn't dead. Alive and very healthy as per ratings. GGG is the best p4p fighter in the sport. Manny wins a wide UD as Floyd will be on his bicycle all night.

most overhyped fight in history, Pacquiao is past his prime and Mayweather isn't far behind, predict it will be a boring fight, with two guys who really don't want to mix it up, goes the distance, split decision, both fighters laugh all the way to the bank, while fans feel they got ripped off wasting their time watching the fight.

I don't think so. Manny has nothing to lose and had a sever hatred for mayweather after mayweather made some racist comments about Manny. I think he will come out slugging and ends up knocking out mayweather. I could definitely see mayweather dancing around and avoiding taking chances.

RE: OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
I agree about Mayweather dancing around, that's been his MO for his entire career, he is a defensive boxer, who lets you wear yourself out, make a mistake in the later rounds, and then he capitalizes. Manny use to be a knockout artist, but last 3 or 4 fights age has caught up to him and he has lost his power, no longer a real threat to knock Mayweather out.

RE: OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
I admit I still get a certain thrill watching two fools knock their brains out.

IMO, the players union have not a leg to stand on, we have known what repeated blows to the head does for many decades. Punch drunk fighters that can barley put two words together. Nobody cares about them, thus hundreds of millions to promote the very thing the NFL is spending hundreds of millions on to avoid.

Point is we as a society think NFL concessions bad even though they are a by product, and fighting is a shame but they are the exact point of the fight.

If you are lloking for betting lines,

Take Mayweather in a unanimous decision.

Next bet would be Paquiao via KO 9 rounds and under.

Only way Paq wins is if he can chase him down. If it goes to decision it is going to be Mayweather

agree, Mayweather is going to try and stay away from Paquiao, win on points, if he gets his way, this will be a really boring fight

Sounds like yourself, and others, pretty much nailed this. Glad I didn't pay for it.

RE: OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
honestly, I don't know jack about boxing, but all the old timers who had devoted their lives to boxing were all making a strong case that this fight would go the distance and it would not even come close to living up to the hype. Thought it was really funny that after the fight, during an interview, Mayweather showed his 100 million dollar check to the camera, started laughing, and acted like he had no problem with the how the fight played out, talking about pouring salt in the wound to all the thousands of people who paid $100.00 for that garbage, what a waste of time and money!!

RE: OT - Pacquiao / Mayweather
Mayweather has fought to not lose fights for his last 5 fights. He knows that there is zero chance of him losing if it goes to the card.
