SBNation does theirs by conference (in no particular order it seems) but the teams within that conference are ranked according to projected finish

They've currently finished C-USA, and are halfway through MWC.

I think Cincinnati will stand alone at the top this year, no reason for an outsider to expect good years from either UCF or Memphis, given defensive attrition.

Oleary is REALLY high on the offense. He has been comparing the situation to 2013. I think what will hurt us the combination of turnover in the db and lb corps although our dline should be good. Pressure will be the key to our d

I think the Pirates are going to be really good this year on defense. Especially if Benkert becomes the QB we think he can be. Watch out for the pirates!

memphis returns almost everyone on offense including a ton of injured players ...i think most people will have memphis having a good year and favorites in the west..

but i agree cincy will come in as the comfortable favorite

Ya I know, Tre'Qan is lighting it up, and we're seeing really good things from the running backs. Not sold on the O-Line yet. But how much of that is from having a completely new back 7?

Cincy

UCF,Memphis, ECU,and Temple,

Houston

everyone else

i honestly don't think anyone see it that way-
it's likely coming into the season perception wise

Cincy

memphis

houston

ucf (just on reputation the last 2 years)/temple (on paper should be top 3 but gets perception points deducted for being temple)

ecu

usf (there regular recruiting class benefit of the doubt)

everyone else

So the only difference in what you said and what I said is that you are higher on houston and not as high on Temple as I am.

To be April and before all the spring games are played we pretty much agree.

Considering it's laden with pretty good talent and have had a year to grow like the wideouts I think it's a wash. He has been high on stanback. I think we have a three headed running game again. Stanback being the power back. We have Gibson drico griffin and Williams. I think once we get to conf play we should be ok as long as we get pressure. If we do we can play conservative coverages so that we don't get burned. It will be interesting to see how fast Rogers and Causey etc progress and if they burn the red shirts. Tre was lighting it up against the first team last year on the practice squad so he should be good. He is really good after the catch which plays into our system well.

You're silly. We will take UConn out back and have our way with them.

Don't sleep on UConn. We learned that the hard way.
