We finally came up with and had our own logo designed! We really wanted the design to both mimic the contemporary, cursive “Tribe” logo, and to retain William & Mary’s athletic history with the patented feathers. What do you guys think? We'd love to get some feedback!

Looks good!!! But feathers need to be bigger [taller & fatter].

Trust me, we tried! But we couldn't make the feathers so big that they hit into "Mary" above them. And we had to stack the logo so it wouldn't be so long! But one thing was for certain, the feathers were going to 100% be in the logo.

Is it possible to change the shade of green & gold in the feathers to match that of the script? To me that would spruce up your already excellent logo.

We thought about making the gold trim on the letters yellow so it would blend with the feathers better, but we elected to go with the gold because of how the cursive "Tribe" looks now. A blend of the modern and the past is kind of what we were going for.

The contrast between the yellow feathers and the gold trim also makes the feathers stand out even more than if the feathers were gold or if the trim on the letters were yellow.

Slide the top line "William & Mary" to the laft; slide the bottom line "Sports Blog" [with the feathers] to the right; Viola!! roome for bigger feathers

Also maybe play with type sizes of the two lines
