Right I totally made it up out of whole cloth. Which is the stupidest suggestion short of the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Get a library card, and hit the Jonesboro Sun microfilm

Idiot.

Never said you made it up. Just could have been some story you heard. Watch your insults.

When you say provided it ever happened that is an implication I made it up and THAT is an insult you just didn't have the courage to directly call me a liar, you just snuck around and it implied. I prefer to be honest in dealing insults.

When I said provided it ever happened I had already asked if that was in an article, and there had been no response. Thus leaving me to think maybe this was an anecdote you had heard. I'll deal with you directly now, since you feel I haven't been direct enough: back off.

One thing I'll give you credit for: you ASU fans sure stick together. I guess there's nothing else to do up there. Doesn't remove the fact that you're acting like a couple of grade school jerks.

Well, if you don't want us treating you rudely...don't accuse us of making up a lot of our school's history.

Yes, there are articles...in your local library. There's a legislative history that has the laws that were proposed as well. If it was a made up story, than it is incredibly well concocted to the point that our own administration believes it happened.

I NEVER ACCUSED ANYONE OF MAKING ANYTHING UP. I explained already that what I meant might have been a rumor that was making the rounds.

Look, I've always had a good relationship with ASU posters on this board as well as our board, including arkstfan. But this is getting ridiculous. My original argument is this and I stand by it: we are every bit as relevant in this state as ASU, and I will continue to support you guys in football until we get one, but what I bristle against is the ASU attitude that we are anything other than equals. You stand up for your school which I can respect, and I stand up for mine.

Maybe we've all been a bit sensitive here.

Yes, but by saying rumor, you essentially accused arkstfan of perpetuating a rumor, and turned like half the story of our university into a myth.

ASU and UALR fans are always going to have an odd relationship, because we hate each other's guts many times, yet we're essentially fighting the same thing, so we feel the need to defend the other from uncalled for attacks in the name of Razorbacks.

I think we got under everyone's skin is the only people who dare acdcuse our history of being a rumor or myth are Razorback fans. Felt kind of strange to hear it from a fan of a school that is fighting the same battle.

Well, it was never my intention, and personal insults aren't something I'm gonna just sit and take, either.
