As for the band, I've been to a ton of spring games, SEC, ACC, old SWC and Big East, etc. No bands at any of them . Maybe they do have bands at spring games. Maybe someone on the board has seen the band at a spring game.

No one in their wildest dreams, including people on this board would have predicted that over 4-thousand fans would attend the spring game. The powers to be hoped for 1000 to 1500 hundred. That is why the lines were long and they ran out of Coke.

All in all it was a great day for the University, the football program and the fans. I really enjoyed myself and heard nothing from people all around me but good comments, I had conversations with people from DB, Sullivan South, Chattanooga, Florida, JC, App State, Clemson and others. They, to a person, made comments on what a great crowd and couldn't wait for the first game. Several already had placed their ticket orders and others wanted to know if they could purchase online. Football is alive and well.

Pretty sure the band was involved in a lot of the other stuff going on over the weekend. Would have loved for them to be there, but I can understand them having a limited schedule, especially this time of year.

I convinced my husband that I needed my season tickets for Valentine's Day earlier this year. He got us two, but now my teen daughter who came to the scrimmage with me wants to come with us to the games. She's doesn't even understand football all that well, but she's a teenager and the players are cute boys, so......
