He transfered to Towson from Miami just a few months ago. Was kicked out for a violation of team rules

Ambrose still open to finding "that difference maker". I cannot stomach the teams that live and die by the transfer. I know the NCAA allows the process, but to me there are too many teams that rely on that process. I would always pull for the organic fielded teams over one of the Transfer U's.

I'm 100% with you. Towson, UD, and SBU (to a certain extent JMU) place athletics first seemingly without regard for reasons why the player wants or needs to leave a big program. I'm okay with transferring because the player wants to play or be closer to home but the, "I couldn't even behave to Miami's standards" crap is foreshadowing. Ambrose just wants more of the same...believe that.

Maybe he can transfer to Alabama. I watched Nick Saban's news conference the other night while I was at the Y and he is big on giving kids second and third chances so that they can become better people. I wanted to throw up on the elliptical. And a few roster spots have opened up the last couple of days.

Hofstra is the new Transfer U in CAA basketball.
