Sorry, the less/fewer thing tilts me. If you can count it, use fewer. Whew. Thanks.

RE: 2015 Tribe Spring Ball
If you want a simple rule, the difference between less and fewer is straightforward: The traditional advice is that fewer is for things you count, and less is for things you don’t count.

That's the simple rule, and the one you'll hear most often, but another way to think about the difference that also takes care of some of the exceptions to the simple rule is to use less for singular nouns and fewer for plural nouns. For example, the Chicago Manual of Style recommends using the “singular or plural” framework.

Singular: Less Plural: Fewer
Candy is . . . less candy M&Ms are . . . fewer M&Ms
Water is . . . less water Glasses of water are . . . fewer glasses of water
Potato salad is . . . less potato salad Potatoes are . . . fewer potatoes

I'm more interested in this grammar lesson. I couldn't care fewer about the spring practice.

Appreciate the redirection.

I understand there are some nagging injuries holding a few players out of practice. Hopefully they get back on the field soon. Spring is all about moving up the depth chart. Hard to do that from the sideline.

The fast pace offense will be fun to watch. Depth will be needed to really take advantage of the additional plays the speed of the game will create.

One of the biggest things when going to a fast paced offense is conditioning. QB, RB, TE, and WRs are okay, but it's getting the line down the field, lined up, and ready to block with less down time. Another issue is the QB being comfortable with the offense and able to get a play and get it set without a huddle. These are all doable, and I think it would be a nice thing to have in the bag, even if it's not always the MO.

I believe 'I care more less than everyone else about the spring practice' is the correct way to word that sentence.

Kudos! I don't care who you are, that's funny. If I could give you rep., I would. Mr. Moderator??

Great to see several photos of Mosley working out at today's (3/23) morning workout. This after two years of injury. If he's healthy, as appears, this kid has everything to be a fine quarterback for the Tribe. A great runner and passer in high school and blessed with a terrific throwing arm. Multi-threat.

Anxious to see him in the spring practice game on April 11th.

Anybody have any insight on the quiet addition of 6'5" 225lb, RFR QB Tim Burns to the roster?

VISAA Div II 1st Team All-state at state champ Nansemond-Suffolk two years ago, and signed with Coastal Carolina where he redshirted last year. Originally was the only QB in their 2013 class before they took on another QB from Myrtle Beach late in the year.
Quite a change academically.

One 6'5" receiver is too many when he runs a 5.0 40 :-(

Have to say, not impressed with the film. Hope he improved his speed, footwork and tendency to loft jump-balls since last year...

When your inside the 5 yard line you don't need speed if you're 6-5.

RE: 2015 Tribe Spring Ball
Is he a QB, TE, or WR? Haven't seen him run a route, block, or catch a ball. He appears to be a QB. Why didn't he stay and compete at CC. Only 2 QB'S based on the info at CC. We currently have 7 QB'S on the roster.
