Anyone (Ribes?) know if there is any movement to have an event on campus with the team for the selection show? I went to the one in 2010 and thought it was great for the fans and the team. I'm thinking it could help re-ignite the fans after everyone is understandably down right now.

Not sure who would make this happen, but I would 100% go.

hmmmm...I'll make a phone call or two and find out. I think it's a good idea. We--the whole tribe--do need to shed this mantle of defeat and reclaim some mojo.

Not sure that I'd drive 6 hours round-trip for an NIT selection show, but I've done far, far crazier things for the Tribe.

Had no idea you guys were that far away!

I can understand out of towners not going, but the auditorium it was in last time was modest sized and drew enough people to have butts in the seats. Plus this time there's no chance of a let down, it's just a chance to support the team as they see who/where they play.

Maybe a Person or Wightman Room viewing? Getting people back to the Hall is a good thing, too. Maybe show some TribeAthletics highlight videos in the runup to the announcement.

They used commonwealth auditorium last time. I see what you mean about Kaplan, but commonwealth is a much better "venue" for it.

Much easier to pull in passers by in the UC as well.

Yeah - probably important to mention that this was
a student and alum event - not something just for alums. That makes the Sadler Center a more logical spot.

Looks like there will be a gathering, and it will be in Sadler. Selection show is at 8:30, and people will congregate at 8:00 or so.

Word will go out through the usual social media circles today or tomorrow.
