The basketball firing season has now begun
Actually I expected to see Brady at Ark. St. given the pink slip, but apparently he is going to hang on for at least another year. Troy's coach could be in some hot water.

But we will break the ice-- GS just fired our women's coach. After 3 years of something like 23-65 overall record it was time for a change. This year we finished 2-18 in conference and obviously missed the tourney. It will be interesting to see who we go after and how much money we are willing to invest in our women's basketball program.

Anyone looking for a woman's basketball coach should look at Madonna Thompson from Shelton State. I know it's a community college, but she has had amazing results and I'm not sure why she has not been given the opportunity at a four year school.

I am expecting us to hire someone who has been a head coach, probably at the D2 level or possibly JuCo level.

This was our coaches 2nd year... He will be back for his 3rd year, but if we don't see a big improvement im betting he won't make it to 4th year

Your coach seemed to have no trouble beating us but had his problems with the rest of the league.

We had a TON of injuries this year and we were very young (2 total seniors)

We expect next year to be much better.

We lose 5 seniors who all contributed. Next year I have no idea what to expect from GS. We may sink back to our usual basketball performance of struggling to win 12-13 games.
