I frankly did not realize until this came up that Poindexter was played by Timothy Busfield, who starred in "The Paper Chase" as a young man, and later in "Thirtysomething" and "The West Wing" among a lot of other work. In fairness, any actor in that getup is pretty unrecognizable.

And yes, he did marry Half-Pint, Melissa Gilbert from "Little House on the Prairie".

I am pretty sure the intentional misspelling of Poindexter as Pondexter means something else or is in jest of someone that forever misspelled it that way.

I thought the Pondexter joke was more widely known on this board than it is. I won't spoil it. I'll let the originator do it if he wishes.

If it's misspelled it must involve Attalla.
