Should be a good game! Northeastern played a tough one last night while we dominated CoC. I wonder if that will impact endurnace as our starters did not have to go full throttle for 40 minutes like NE did.

Will the band make the trip today? I was surprised to not see them there yesterday. Figured since #2 seed all spirit groups would go.

Looking at our season contests, we've done a good job of containing their guards. NU had 15 TO's in the last game, and we had 10 steals and 7 blocks, limiting them to 41% from the field, and 25% from 3. However, they had 31 FT attempts but hit only 17. We can't let them get to the line that much tonight.

On offense, we had only 11 3 point attempts, which seems to be the sweet spot for this team. We hit 49% from the field, but only 27% from 3.

NU really lost this game at the FT line, where they had 13 more attempts, but scored only 4 more points. If they had a decent night at the line, they could have won.

Both games have been close, but the Hawks' seem to have refocused their game with a week off before the tournament.

I didn't get to see the CoC game, but based on posts here, it seems like we did play more zone. I'd like to see that against NU as well.

We need Ced to be the Ced we saw last night. Also, with the big men NU bring to the table, CJ and Chuck will have to contribute at least on defense. 7 blocks last game really changed the NU offense.

Chuck really changed the trajectory of that last game, while CJ looked to slow.

Wha? My wife AND kids know that when UNCW is playing I am unavailable. Matter of fact, we connected the computer to the big screen to watch games this year!

Yeah well she doesn't get it. Never has never will every October (well not the last few) she acts surprised that I want to watch the yanks games . I have a frecking sweet man cave I never use. She probably got so used to uncw being one and done she's surprised

William and Mary are dogs too. Looks to me like betting trends are probably based on ill-informed bet placers looking at overall records and placing their odds as such. Hofstra has more "overall" wins than WM and the same with NU.

Yeah, I think ANYONE that paid any attention to the CAA this year could have called this. Hofstra is not at all the realistic favorite in this matchup. Add in the WM fans that made the trip vs a Hofstra fan base that doesn't travel well, and this might get ugly.

W&M v. UNCW will look a lot better on tv monday night than Hofstra v. Northeastern. hoping that is the outcome of today!
