CAA Tournament Day 2
This is where the rubber meets the road. The play-ins clawed at each other for first blood and now it's the top dogs' turn to show everyone if they have what it takes for a 3 game run to the top!

On tap for Saturday:

Game 3:
12:00 #8 Elon vs #1 William and Mary

Game 4:
2:30 #5 Hofstra vs #4 James Madison

Game 5:
6:00 #10 College of Charleston vs #2 UNCW

Game 6:
8:30 #6 Delaware vs #3 Northeastern

My picks are WM, JMU, UNCW, Delaware

We should be ok, still think I'd rather had Drexel .

Not sure why you'd have liked Drexel instead. They smoked the Tribe with this lineup, and we have a problem with physical teams(which they are).

We've also proven we can shut down CoC. I'm less worried about CoC beating our press and making us pay for it than Drexel would have.

I like the matchup.

RE: CAA Tournament Day 2
My upset special is Elon over the Tribe.

Elijah Bryant is going to shut down Marcus. I didn't realize just how big he is for a PG. 6'4", 225 lbs. Remember King Rice at Carolina? William and Mary isn't a strong rebounding team and aren't that athletic, which is where Elon has trouble. They also aren't a great defensive team, so they aren't going to shut down Elon. Not to mention, Elon shot well from deep on these goals already and are confident from 3.

I just think Elon, and particularly Bryant, are hitting stride at the right time.

2 words: 7 players. CoC is a good matchup for us either way.

The closest anyone came to shutting down Marcus was our own Jordon Talley. Granted, it was only for 1 half, but W&M fans themselves said they hadn't seen Thornton as flustered as that since he was a Freshman.

It's still Jay Bilas right? Yeah... no thanks. I try to drastically limit how much of his BS I have to listen to.

In case anyone is not aware, and the games are unavailable to them regionally like myself...

All the CAAT games are streamed live using Stretch Internet at http://www.caasports.com

I'll be watching the UNCW baseball game myself though.
