I wonder if that win will up our RPI enough to get an at large bid for 2011?

Taking away past wins is the biggest joke in the NCAA. Tell the players who worked their asses off to get those wins for Syracuse that the wins didn't count. Unless they plan to make all of the student athletes suit up and reply every game for 5 years, those games counted.

Orange coach is suspended and they lost a bunch of schollies.

The scholarship losses is probably the biggest hit for Syracuse. Lose 3 scholarships for 4 years. Think this means they will only be able to give 9 scholarships instead of 12 (someone correct me if I am wrong) over that period. That is a lot to lose for depth purposes.

This was after the year we were on the bubble. That year we lost to Syracuse by 3 we didn't do so hot...

According to some initial reactions, Syracuse got off easy. Cheating was endemic and they got away with self-imposing this year out of tourneys when they knew they had a non-competitive team. Should have gotten at least one more years.

But the scholarship losses will hurt for a long time.

Hey, I'll take the win they have to forfeit to us. I remember that game and they got several "home cooking" foul calls that took away late a game we should have won. So justice is served.
