UMD gets a sac fly to make it 6-4, but 2 down now.

Ugh. UMD grand slam. 8-6 we trail.

Walks are hurting us. I didn't realize we surrender an average of 8 per 9 innings.

I'll put that grand slam on the umpire. Made our pitcher throw batting practice. Two of our coaches came close to getting tossed. Never seen this crew before. They were not calling yesterday.

Hopefully despite our 11-9 loss yesterday we get some love in the polls. They cynical side of me says this will tell the pollsters more about Maryland NOT being deserving a top 25 slot than it tells them we DO belong in the top 25.

We're now 9-1 at home with 3 wins against ranked teams (Ball St. was ranked when we beat them in the opening weekend of the season). Our 4 losses are all to ranked teams, 3 on the road, decided by a TOTAL of just 6 runs. Give us some credit, voters!

Couldn't agree more here. Guy was terrible. Very inconsistant. I believe the HR was off Gantz. Threw 3 strikes in there before giving up the bomb, all called balls. I believe something to the tune of "call a f*****g strike" was said on the way off the mound after that inning was finally over.
