RE: Hello all
I think Keatts will need a few winning seasons at the top of the conference before he can make a vertical leap. Can't imagine a school of any quality taking a chance on him after doing well in a much weaker CAA, and a Senior laden squad. If he can keep us in the top 2 for two more seasons, he will get looks. Brownell had us at a high level for quite awhile, and only made it to Clemson after a winning stop at Wright St.
If we can keep Keatts for three years, the system and players should be in place to bring in a replacement from the Pitino coaching tree, and hopefully not skip a beat. If that happens, his hire will have been a home run.

RE: Hello all
In todays world if you win a game in the NCAA tourney after going from worst to first you are as hot as hot can get.The old rules don't apply anymore-like it ot not.Don't forget, UNCW took a chance on a guy with very little college expand no college headcoach exp.If he leaves after this season for a better job it is a home run.

Not bad for a guy you once called a "High School coach". You were as wrong on this guy as you were Goldsberry.

RE: Hello all
I like him so far but to say he is as good a coach as JG was a player is a joke-he has a long ways to go.It is still his first year here and it is allaces so far but I would say let it play out just a bit more.Weak conference and he has some pretty good senior players.

Conference is ranked 19th in the RPI, about the same as it's been for a while now. He also has a freshman PG he recruited running the ship, with one of the best A/TO ratios in the league. Just admit you were wrong and we can move on.

I am ultra conservative and always plan for the future with an eye on what might or might not happen.Never overpay and only buy what you actually afford, fix it instead of replace it!
