CAA - This Weekend - 2/14-15
Right now, the standings are as follows:

Tribe - 10-3
Northeastern - 9-4
UNCW - 9-4
JMU - 8-5
Drexel - 8-5
Hofstra - 7-6
Delaware - 5-8
Towson - 4-9
Elon - 3-10
CoC - 2-11

Delaware @ W&M on NBCSN at 2:30 - We can stay 1 up over whoever wins the NU/UNCW game if we win/otherwise, we are in a tie for 1st. We have been dominant at home and need to continue this to be alone in 1st

Northeastern @ UNCW - Winner is in 2nd place or 1st if we lose while loser is likely in a tie for 3rd place either 1 or 2 games behind us. Rest of UNCW's games are against the bottom 4 except for hosting JMU on Feb 25 while NU has to host W&M and Drexel before going to bottom 4 teams. Who do we root for in this one?

JMU @ Elon - JMU should take this one easily to stay 2 or move 1 behind us in a tie for 3rd but you never know in this conference. They still will have Drexel @UNCW and Hofstra to finish out the season

Hofstra @ Drexel - Hofstra is in a free fall and is alone in 6th while Drexel is in a tie for 4th having won 6 straight. If Drexel wins, they move to within 1 of or stay 2 behind us in a tie for third. We should hope for Hofstra in this one. Drexel still has to go to JMU, NU and W&M so they have a tough end of the season schedule.

Towson @CoC - Potential pillow fight Friday preview?

W&M has one of tougher end of season schedules, but it is a great feeling to be alone in first place and in control of our own fate.

Your rooting interest in the NU-UNCW game depends on whether you think you'll win @ NU. If NU beats us then you lose to NU, you (of course) risk falling out of first.

W&M fans should definitely be pulling for UNCW. We've only got a 1-game lead on NU (until we play them), but an effective 2-game lead on UNCW. The 3-game cushion on JMU feels pretty safe with 5 to play.

It is nice knowing The Tribe has the tie breaker in our favor against UNCW .
Going Hofstra worries me since we never seem to play well there and of course playing in the NU icebox is no fun, also. The last week of the season will be fun as usual hopefully W&M can play to their potential and win going away.

Let's say we beat Delaware and Northeastern.
If Northeastern beats UNCW, we have a two game lead on both with tiebreaker on both for sweeping season series, with only three games left in the season. Win just one of Hofstra, Towson, Drexel at that point and the #1 seed would be clinched! Next two games are huge for the Tribe!
Go NU!

I hope their game is decided after seven OTs.

And, yes, SN08, that would be a NCAA record. Before you look it up, Cuse and UConn hold the current record with six OTs in 2009.

If I remember correctly, that was a Big East Tourney game. Insane game where teams had to go deep into the reserves due to foul outs.

I remember watching that game. Wasn't it during the Big East conference tourney?

I'm hoping Elon plays the games of their lives today. LOL. It won't happen though.
