Montreaz Harrell would eat us alive in the paint. This would be a BAD matchup for the Tribe

He would score 40 of their total 50 points.

He also has that game in Columbus, OH as part of the East Region rather than Jacksonville.
IF we make it, I'm hoping we get seeded in Pittsburgh, Columbus or Charlotte.

For the love of God, please ignore Joe Lunardi and every other bracketology "expert" and stop discussing which seed William and Mary will get in some faraway tournament in neverland. Just stop. I'm begging you. Please.

RE: W&M vs Elon - Game 24
Kudos to all sports at W&M. Traditionally W&M has done more with less resources than many of its peers. I think we would all like to see more resources allocated to the athletic pie, without endangering the academic pie.
Holding W&M's growth levels below that of many of its rivals and peers makes it unique, but puts a strain on resource availability. Holding higher academic standards makes the recruiting pool smaller, but also offers more to those that qualify.
Having a full pallet of competitive athletic teams, at a small, academically stringent state university is difficult and quite a challenge, but it is part and parcel of whom W&M is and why it is unique.

+1, we will have plenty of time to discuss if we win the tournament in March, no reason to even consider it until then. Would be different if we were on the bubble for an at large, but we are not.

RE: W&M vs Elon - Game 24
I would think our fan base would be more focused on the team we're playing this coming Saturday night, which oh by the way we haven't beaten in FOUR YEARS. That's 8 straight losses, including one earlier this year, and of course the CAA tournament final last year. And that loss doesn't still sting a little bit.
But heck, I sure hope we get a 12 seed for the big dance, and we can all drive to Columbus or Jacksonville or wherever Joe Lunardi's newest wet dream has us going.

Where is everyone planning to go party after we win the National Championship in Indianapolis? I think we should look into reserving a space now.
On the off chance we fall short of Indy, probably best we savor watching this team and MT and not get too caught up in looking ahead. I'm not superstitious or one that believes fan message boards effect player psyche. I just think every second of a winning season and exciting basketball at WM should be savored. Its like water in a desert, who knows when you'll see it again. Under Shaver, the mirages have become fewer and the oasis much more frequent, but no one knows for sure what next year will bring. Hopefully we're done wondering the basketball wilderness and are now entering the promised land. Go Tribe!

If we do THAT, I'll personally fly all of us to a certain someone's estate in Colorado for the party.

As a note, our first round, assuming it is this year, likely will be the second round of the tourney since they call the play-in games the first round.

Win the whole game? Slow down, let's get through warm-ups and then focus on the first half before we start talking about winning the game.

The way our games have gone, I'd rather focus on the second half than the first.
