Makes sense, BBVA is a Spanish company.

What are the chances of lower profile stands being added along the "visitor's side?
Are cleated shoes worn in soccer? How about lacrosse? Both are growing sports in today's climate when football is getting a lot of medical static due to head injury.

By the way, it's nice to hear about UAB's soccer program from outside of UAB. When other parents tell you that UAB has one of the best soccer camps in the region, and you hear your son's teammates (the good ones) talk about possibly wanting to play for UAB in college...and they don't know you are a UAB fan, it is a good sign for the program.
I'm a bigger UAB soccer fan than football and basketball.

I'm right there with you, I love all of the UAB sports team, but my favorite team to follow is the soccer team. Followed closely by baseball then basketball and football.

It's fairly common for a soccer venue to only have seating on one side.
I can't be sure if that is a legitimate question or not. Soccer is mostly played barefoot.
And in case you don't pay attention to anything but what you want, soccer has received a ton of negative publicity about head injuries too. I ref high school here and the second somebody gets hit in the head and shows any sign of injury we are instructed to stop the game. They have a concussion protocol where you must be cleared before coming back in, much like football.

My daughter has to purchase a packet of cleats, shin guards, & a #4 soccer ball from Hibbetts for her games/practices.

FYI, Coach Getman posted a picture on twitter yesterday of dirty being turned. We'll see how quickly things progress to meet the Fall 2015 deadline. First home game is scheduled 8/22.

The building at bottom/center of the picture is the current Marshall Conference Center... looks like it will be renovated to be part of the soccer facility (locker rooms/meeting rooms/offices?).
I see the design firm used that logo. We should just adopt it at this point.
