And, no, I'm not talking about our fanbase.

So, you guys like to talk about the good 'ol days. Who has a nice story from the 17th century?

Some old prints in the library show students playing some sort of bowls about three hundred years ago. No info on their season record.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
As the result of the "Glorious Revolution" in 1688 William [of Orange a province in Holland] and Mary became the King and Queen of England. The revolution was a bloodless one and insured that the Royal secession from then on would be a Protestant. William & Mary ruled as co-equal Monarchs, which was the only time in history where a King and Queen on the throne were equal in authority. In addition, their reign was historically important because W&M agreed that they would cede final authority to the English Parliment thus making the Parliment, which was elected by the people, the ultimate governing authority. The College of W&M was chartered by King William and Queen Mary in 1693.
