Totally clueless.
Chet, I know he isn't from the dirty south, but is undeniable we would be where we are without Monken. He was the lightning rod. Keel still had Sammy Baker in power. Stop hating. Drink a cream soda. Hatcher is back in the Socon to continue his losing ways

Monken definitely has a part in what we are now, but to say there were zero problems is a bit too far.
Baker wasn't making football decisions after Monken took over, especially after the playoff bid got mishandled. There's a reason he clashed with TK after he was hired.

There may have ben zero problems with Monken, but there were a plethora of problems under him. I do agree with you that 2013 would've been different had we stayed FCS though. Wouldn't have redshirted anyone that had a hangnail. McKinnon would've still had a bum ankle and Swope would've still had a hurt shoulder and his other problems though. I still think we are in better hands now. Wouldn't trade how things happened for anything right now.

Stumpy, you make me laugh when you post drunk.
Hatcher? dirty south? And you're still stalking Sammy? Your infatuation with that chimp is hilarious.
Instead of talking about Georgia Southern athletics, you should probably stick to subjects more in your realm of knowledge...like mucophagy, finger painting, or cross dressing.

I'll be at the West Virginia game this season (only 5 hors away)! I'd love to see another game against a northeast team in the future. Maybe a home and home vs UCONN, UMASS, Maryland, Rutgers, ARMY, or Temple.
Rumor is to expect a home-home vs UMASS to be announced soon. I would like that game too. Got relatives in Boston and would be a good trip early in the season. IF its late in the season, pass.
UMASS would be a nice game for some of the middle age fans who remember the playoff rivalry of the two schools 15 years ago.
I believe UMASS plays their home games at Gillette stadium.
They don't play all of their home games at Gillette Stadium, depends on the match-up, I believe..... They have a contract to host 4 games a year at Gillette right now
We split games between Gillette and Amherst last year, 3 and 3.
Our contract with Gillette is flexible. But NCAA rules say it has to be an even split or 5 and 1. You can't do 4 and 2.
Can't wait to play you guys. Have you heard any update as to when they are going to announce the Home and Home series?
