JMU started to do a lot of damage on us when they went to full court pressure late in the second half. We had similar difficulties getting the ball in against Hofstra. JMU supposedly didn't go to it earlier because Brady didn't have time to put much practice in for it before the game. Expect they'll have put a lot of practice time in this time around...Hope we will have too because we've been vulnerable there.

Well, it's right there with MaineJeff's prediction years ago on our basketball game - as I remember "either team could win though it will be within 10 points". As I think you at the time reminded him, that covered about 90% of all possible outcomes.

Of course, W&M went on to win by 30 or more.

I miss MaineJeff's football analysis during that ONE year when they were worth a damn. He insisted on writing up weekly rankings just so he could type "1. Maine" every week.

The press JMU used earlier in the season was a 2-2-1 which fell back into their 3-2. It seemed designed more to eat up clock that to produce turnovers; on the other hand, I was watching them against CofC, so maybe they are more aggressive against other foes.

Turnovers and giving up second chance points have a weakness for the Tribe for so long that I always worry about them.

What has happened to Andre Nation? The conference needs this guy for added color and skill. Who cares if he's immature and does dumb things? He's a player!

JMU always plays us tough. Thank goodness A.J. Davis and Devon Moore aren't still around - those two used to shred our defense.

I noticed NU held JMU to 59 points both games and it seems NU scored at will. Anyone know what defense NU ran against JMU?
