How's This for 2015 Openers?
From the sublime to the ridiculous...

Charlotte at Georgia State
Gardner Webb at South Alabama
Howard at Appalachian State

Ohio at Idaho

Louisiana Lafayette at Kentucky
Arkansas State at USC
Louisiana Monroe at Georgia
Georgia Southern at West Virginia
New Mexico State at Florida
Texas State at Florida State
Troy at North Carolina State

I suspect some schedule re-shuffling, but games are from:

I imagine we'll be the clear cut favorites to win the Sun Belt after we thrash USC on opening day. Though that may change after Texas State beats Florida State.

Charlotte has a putrid defense, but can score some points. The Panther defense isn't going to become world-beaters in one year. but they should score a ton of points. Georgia State wins something like 63-35.

I would put money on that happening. 49'ers are really bad.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao We are so going to get killed. ....

.... Just checked the line in Vegas .... Chicken Little has better odds of seeing "the sky fall" than we have of beating FSU ....

Nah, you guys pull off those wins all the time, and still finish 5th in the league. Of course, going O for Kolton Browning against Arkansas State didn't help matters.05-stirthepot

RE: How's This for 2015 Openers?
Charlotte at Georgia State - although UNC Charlotte is not good, this game very well could be a toss up.
Gardner Webb at South Alabama - USA should win this by a couple scores
Howard at Appalachian State - I think App wins easily

Ohio at Idaho - Sorry Idaho

Louisiana Lafayette at Kentucky - I want to say this game is winnable for ULL, but it will be an uphill battle
Arkansas State at USC- Don't know if I see Ark State pulling the upset here
Louisiana Monroe at Georgia - lol. sorry ULM. Not happening
Georgia Southern at West Virginia - Same here as ULL I think. Winnable game, but first game with a new O-line will be interesting, and pass defense probably won't improve greatly by game 1. But if GS plays a complete game (which they didn't do against either ACC team), they can definitely win.
New Mexico State at Florida - lol
Texas State at Florida State- lulz
Troy at North Carolina State- I think NC State will be much better this year than last. They really improved as the season went on. I think they win by 21 at least.

If Charlotte and Georgia State is a close game, Georgia State is in serious trouble.

unfortunately they haven't done anything yet to prove otherwise. Their 1 win was a come from behind victory over Abeleine Christian. Not saying they won't be better, but until they prove they are better, I'm not guaranteeing a win for them over anyone.

As true as that is, let's not forget that Browning didn't play in one game (2012) and played only half of another game (2011) with a broken foot. And Georgia....that's going to be a toughie. We've played them three times before and a 44-7 loss in 2005 was the closest game of the series.

This list prompted two immediate questions.

1. When did Charlotte get a football team?
2. When WILL Georgia State get one?

ULM might have a chance, UGA will be breaking in a new qb and they will certainly have starters suspended for off season antics.

Which prompts the question regarding your obsession "was it good for you?".

Right now I am hoping NMSU vs Florida game has the same outcome Idaho had when they played Florida.

No way we win, we are 0 for forever against the SEC. We have pissed away several victories though.
