Like that Murphy is consistent with pulling guys out for poor defense, lack of effort etc. He immediately took out Lee after that quick 3, Bond after poor job breaking the full court. With both guys having multiple years ahead of them at EMU, I hope these teaching moments sink in.

Bond still looks uncomfortable. You can see the talent and athleticism is definitely there. He just really could've used the OOC experience. He'll get there eventually.

BTW, the Kent announcers noticed that they can score on transition before the zone can set up, it becomes man to man.

We use the high screen so often, but never hit the screener rolling to the hoop. He is always open, we need to screen with a purpose.

agreed. i try to count how many times we hit the big man with a pass on the roll. i don't think it has even been more than twice in a game. that roll is only effective if the screener is a threat to catch a pass and either pass or shoot.

our offensive looks bad right now. i would let Talley & Lee go 1-on-1 for a couple possessions until the team settles down.

nevermind. i don't know what the answer is on offense. this looks bad.

this isn't on the refs. EMU is not playing well on either end.

Not rebounding anymore at all either. KSU out-muscling us down low. Having Samuels on the bench with 4 fouls has been a killer.

Take it for whatever it's worth. It just looks to me as if each player is trying to do everything on their own, 1 on 5 on offense. Our best offense has been in transition. We're not moving the ball around at all and taking well defended shots. Apparently we are expecting our shots to go in like Miami's did last week.

i was wondering why he was out. i didn't realize that he has four on him already. he gets in foul trouble most games. once he cuts down on that he'll be a very effective player.

easy to say now that it's working, but i was actually ok with that. everyone else was so discombobulated that bench players make sense.
