After looking at the photo above of the old video screen and scoreboard,
the new digital video board is about the same width but is larger from top to bottom of the screen. With no bleachers in that endzone, I think they stretched the screen downward. It's now a very large flat screen TV. Too bad we don't get to enjoy it this fall. This will be an exciting new element to the game experience, as long as someone knows how to operate the new technology.

The in-house TV and graphics team has been top notch the last few years. I'd imagine that would be to our benefit with the new board.

DSL's new-fangled camera does, indeed, work. Here is the new scoreboard.

Stole these from WMSB. Noticed something annoying. Theyre expanding the UC/Sadler AGAIN...but what a wasted opportunity! Could have had 3/4 of the construction paid for by the state if it was mostly for the student center and not the stadium.

Should have waited and expanded into the stadium to make the south endzone more enclosed and on the outer wall include bleachers with suites above similar to ODU. I guess the track moving to Dillard isnt quite happening, but this should be the plan!

Any idea what it is going to become? Looks like just the green and gold tarp that covered it is missing but the area itself looks to still be there.

Looks like theyre doing graduation tonight. I like the evening celebration...mostly to avoid the heat. Graduate students have a separate ceremony tomorrow AM.

Soft. When I graduated it was 90 degrees and we didn't complain a bit.

(I complained a lot. The gov't ceremony was outside. I wanted to die.)
