Ponder trying to lose this one on his own.

Our turnovers per game is ridiculous.

Just no excuse to lose this game. These are the games you have to win. A nice win Sat, and a horrible loss today. I'm having flashbacks of one step forward 3 back.

Let's wait until we at least get a few conference games in the belt before we start talking flashbacks.

1. How does Ced only have two shots in an entire game?

2. It seems we didn't push the pace off rebounds to get in transition. We had two fast break points, to Campbell's 16.

3. Campbell had more points in the paint, and points of TO's. If we can't win those stats, our game plan doesn't work.

Worst defensive effort of the year coupled with high double digit turnovers and a motivated opponent that views the game against us as a huge deal, particularly when they host. All that leads to a loss in game we should have won

Ced was in foul trouble early, it sounded like. I only caught the last few minutes of the game on video.

I don't think Campbell sees UNCW as a huge win these days, maybe 10 years ago but not now.Sounds like they figured out a way to lose?
Gotta make them pay for being so small inside with Williams in the post.Did he get in foul trouble?Rico McCarter is a good player, saw him last year vs UNCA.Its just one game-move on and learn something.

Actually Mullet with a capital M, that couldn't be further from the truth. If you had listened or watched the Campbell announcers that would have been evident. The last few minutes all they did was talk about how the Campbell team needed to be tested by UNCW, who they said would easily be top of the Big South with THIS team. Additionally, they kept mentioning how important this rivalry is to Campbell.

It is clear that Campbell saw this game as a big get, and it seems like it was more of a trap game for our guys going up to face a Big10 team in four days at Minnesota.

I doubt it means as much as you think. They only had 1300 fans there and I have seen the place packed a couple of times. UNCW is way down on talent, not to mention the recent past seasons. It is a nice win for them but nothing special.
UNCW vs anybody is not a game they can take lightly or look past. They should beat Campbell but to make it sound like a huge upset or the SuperBowl for them is BS.
They have a really nice gym, great place to watch basketball.I think it holds about 4200 people for basketball.UNCW should have something along those lines.

Mullet the students are out it was two days before Christmas at 2pm on a weekday afternoon. Wonder why they didn't draw? Use common sense

Student section there is about 300-400 at best.I played in the old gym,it was loud, small and hot.
UNCW basketball is not a big draw on the road these days, hell its not a big draw in Wilmington.Gotta win some games and then maybe the fans come back and maybe not.

Listened to the Campbell broadcast on the drive back to Raleigh. It was definitely a big game for them. They talked incessantly about 100 year history of this game, how Campbell had never lost to UNCW at the new gym, and how they wished this game was not 2 days before Christmas so the students could be here to add some intensity to the atmosphere. The time and date were not attendance friendly. This was and is a big game for them or else we wouldnt play it.

You're right 33, I didn't mean to let the facts cloud my judgement. LOL. And Mullet, nobody said it was like the Super Bowl for them, but they DID see it as a big upset. You could hear it in the tone and words the announcers were using, as well as see it in the physical reaction of the Campbell players at the end of the game. Their bench was all hyped up, jumping up and down, and waving their arms trying to get the small crowd excited about the win. They CLEARLY saw this as a big game. For someone that didn't watch or listen to the game... it'd probably be best for you to just listen to what we're telling you.
