I don't even know what a "GA Southern" is so all I can do is laugh at your foolishness.
Not a single Sun Belt team has a winning record vs the MAC, overall the Sun Belt is 23-39 (.371) vs the MAC and 5-8 vs MAC in Bowls. Talk is cheap, know your place.

Congrats on the MAC divisional champion beating the fourth place team in the Sun Belt on a last minute bomb. MAC versus the current Sun Belt in the last 5 years (FBS vs FBS only)....MAC 6, Sun Belt 9.
Congrats on the 2nd best team in the SBC managing to score 1 TD vs the 7th best team in the MWC. MAC vs SBC teams that scored less points vs the MAC opponent- MAC won EVERY game. Cherry picking stats is FUN!

That MWC team beat a PAC 12 team and had very close losses to 2 more PAC 12's and Boise. They put up 40+ on Boise and Arizona... and 3 on the Cajuns.
Weak smack...

LOL at an Ohio fan coming to the Sun Belt board to tell us to "know our place."
I'm just amazed.

TXST has been playing football for 101 years and no MAC team has dared to schedule us? Not our fault.

I don't know about the SBC, but the bobcats knew their place the last time they played Troy; since we're rehashing old memories and such...

We're looking forward to hosting Western Michigan next fall, and plan on giving the Sun Belt one more win against the MAC.

It doesn't matter, really. It was a good game.
MAC/Sun Belt/C-USA are all fighting tooth and nail to get a leg up on the other conferences. For that game? MAC wins.

I've been impressed with GS and I'm concerned about the game. It's nestled between Michigan State (home) and Ohio State (away) for us, so I'm hoping no one on our side overlooks it. Do you return a lot next season?
We should make it a good game -- majority if our starters back from an 8-win team.

main piece missing is we graduated 4 starting OL, but just picked up a big transfer OL from UAB, and a good looking JUCO kid, and we have a few kids who will be upper classmen that could step up, so we should be fine in that category. We return our QB and both of our RB's, so all of our backfield will remind in tact.

"MAC divisional champion" doesn't mean toooo much when talking about the MAC East.
Overall, BGSU is the MAC's #5 best team, max. They went 0-4 in cross-division against the MAC West, one of those losses being against a team that wasn't even bowl eligible.

I did the math. Last 5 years, current Sun Belt vs current MAC.
MAC 7....SBC 9.
But one of those was a FCS USA team playing at Kent in 2011.
FBS only
MAC 6....SBC 9.
