I can't even imagine what it must be like for these freshman that are expected to contribute this season, if only for a few plays/game.
Within the span of a week, they traveled across 3 time zones, got to play in the famed Rose Bowl against UCLA, come away with an upset victory, travel home across 3 time zones, immediately begin work to prepare for some school you are told is your rival...in an NFL stadium. Learning how to immediately prep for the next opponent...putting in time in the film room...and in the gym.
And by the way - make sure they get to class and don't let grades slip.
There are a lot of "firsts" for these kids. I'm sure the emotions are running high.
