keep telling yourself that ending discrimination against LGBT people is not a civil rights issue.
But discrimination against straight people is OK?
if they are exhibiting intolerance that conflicts with a civil right...yes. and it's not so much discrimination, it's feeling the blunt of disproval from society and the legal ramifications from our legal system.

And cake is no civil right.
it's not about the cake but not being discriminated against. would you say "a hot dog is no civil right" when a hot dog stand refuses to serve someone because he is black?

he shouldn't have to find another place. that issue should not exist anywhere he goes.

Sure it should. Anyone invests their time and money building a business owns it and should be able to operate however they wish.
If someone disapproves* of how he operates, find another more to your liking.
*which according to you is a no-no. lol

so if someone wants to put up a "whites only" sign....
I mean it's his business, he invested his time/money into it. he should be able to operate it however he wishes.

But only for the gay guy, right? The guy wanting a pro traditional marriage cake gets screwed by intolerant haters and you're fine with it. It's unbelievable that you actually want two different sets of rules for two different types of people.

what exactly is a "pro traditional marriage cake" that wouldn't be protected under the same law outlawing discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Intolerance is not protected whether it is directed at those because they are straight or gay.

Ask the bakers who wouldn't make one, they seemed to know. Otherwise, why would they turn down business without knowing what it is?

so is that your admission that you are completely making sh!t out of your as.s and can't name a case where a straight guy looking for a cake was denied due to his sexual orientation.
oh and nice job completely avoiding the part of my question where I asked how the straight guy getting denied wouldn't be protected under this law.
