I sent that very quote to the BOT. I figured a 'few' of them are good men/women.

And although he's no longer AD, he's still employed at UAB as an "Athletic Advisor" of some kind. SMDH.

Also, one of you may be able to confirm if he has had this, he drove off in what looked like a brand new black Infiniti QX56 SUV. I would have snapped a pic but I'm not a POS.
Shaved buzz cut as well. Witness protection I suppose.
First thing...What is this post supposed to do/say? IMHO your play by play of Brian's movement and clothes is creepy.
And FYI...He does live in Forest Park and the SUV has been his car for a few years, so it's not new.
I was attempting to shed light on the fact that during a business day he is roaming around in casual clothes and not working on finding educational and athletic opportunities for our displaced athletes. Go back under your rock now.

And you know this how? What does one wear when they are going to work the phones with college coaches/recruiters? Do you know his schedule? Does he take Thursday off and work some Saturday's? Since you're so worried about his daily activities, surely you know all these things, right.
You're the one who should crawl his creepy self back under his rock.

I expect him to spend every waking moment he can helping these kids that he helped put in this situation. Do I think it's all Brian's fault? Absolutely not. I do think the amount of money he is being paid is ridiculous and he should have no off days during a business week. If he isn't going to be a part of the solution he is a part of the problem.
I apologize for the shot. I'm not mad at you but more mad at all that's gone on. I appreciate your input.

Guys, he was wearing a UAB shirt at V. Richards. You don't murder someone and then wear their clothes unless you're a real sick puppy.

His position involves finding somewhere for the guys on the team to land. That ain't eating cheetos.
Call the athletic department smart guy and ask for Mackin, they will laugh. He isn't helping a damn person but himself.

I don't care about his wardrobe, driving, or Cheeto habits.
I'd just like to get him under oath.

I second that, tired of this cowardly NDAs. Also instead of walking around like shamed cult member he needs to be helping those kids he didn't fight for.

RE: Mackin Sighting
I have been looking and reading on this website for years. I only joined so I could post last week. I played baseball with Brian at UAB. I transferred from a junior college and played at UAB for 2 great years. Brian and I are the same age. With that being said on my background, I am very disappointed in Brian's silence. I believe our Baseball coach Harry Walker is turning over in his grave from the lack of public voice coming from Brian. He could have been a hero and exposed the plan and where it came from. The football program might have still been canceled, but all of the UAB people would have loved him. Employment would have been no problem there are a number of UAB supporters that would have hired him. Not now! He can't get a job from the UAT people either. I just know as a former teammate we were taught to fight for each other. I'm sure Brian fought behind close doors (I hope). I sent Brian a number of messages when this was going on and he replied early, the replies soon stopped. Now it looks like his public silence has been bought and that saddens me greatly! When you sell your dignity that's just bad. Brian if you read this call me you know who I am. As Coach Walker would say "hey, let me see you go"

Of that list, only Brown, McGee and Fisher can do anything to help our players extend their football careers. From what I saw of UT CHATT tonight, they could use a transfusion of UAB players as well, particularly at QB.

The only thing Brian fought for was his payment. He didn't want to do anything that would keep him from losing his money at the end. That is not how a leader is supposed to act.
