F/+ is probably the best one out there.

Based on those rankings Idaho (110) is a better team than App State. We are ranked 116 yet somehow we managed to go on the road and beat Ark State (75) and UL (86) not mention our win over ULM (99).
Yeah, but those rankings didn't forget that you lost to USM and Liberty.
Hang on, are they ranking us based on the body of work? Or is it based on what we have recently done?

It also retains the last 7 weeks of data for the beginning of the next season. It rolls the oldest week out until week 7 when the ranking is based on all current season data.
It takes into account finishing strong, but you have to keep your momentum to stay in the same range or improve. However, do bad and you'll drop fairly quickly.

Yeah, I know appfan89's post was a joke (I laughed), but App's preseason rankings for next year are going to be solid since it's going to mostly factor in their end-of-year run.

I think deservedly so, considering our young team. But, what if App had a lot of seniors that graduated? Would our preseason ranking be too high?

I want to say the preseason rankings include percentage of yards and/or starters returning in the projection.

Thanks, that would make sense.
