ESPN3 gets somewhere between 6-8 regular season Conference games and the entire SBC Tourney. They have the option to pick up additional OOC games.

Don't we usually have a game of the week once conference play starts? Or is it gone now that CSS is gone?

We do, usually a couple weeks into league play. ESPN3 has picked that up. Usually the upper level schools always host their games because they have the facilities too.

There were 4 last year. 10 conference weekends, 4 games on TV. 01-wingedeagle

We used to have at least 8 or 9. When I asked Killer Karl why there had been a significant reduction, he cited the fact that the games are all in HD now. Karl Benson is a bozo.

If going HD is going to cost 4 or 5 television appearances a year, is it worth it?

Actually, most games were not HD. If I'm not mistaken, the only games we added extra lighting last year for HD broadcast was the Super Regional.

If we use any more bandwidth we would break the internet.
