Been dealing with this type of thing with college wrestling for years ... we know how it feels and it sucks, it sucks more than the word "sucks" can describe it. This is outright criminal.

Nope. Until I see other evidence, this could only happen to UAB.

I know I don't. It's scary to think that in an alternate universe, this could have been us back in the JuCo days when Idaho was in the PCC (the precursor to the PAC).

It's complete bull**** how the BOT basically steamrolled your football program out of existence. If there's any justice in the world, Bama will lose to Mizzou by 60 on Saturday, watch Saban bolt for the Falcons job, and plummet to the basement of the SEC forever.

That is how I feel right now.

Despite being football crazy, Alabama is also one of the most backwards states in the whole nation. People won't realize the damage this is going to do until long after they're hurt. UAB is also the only major institution that comes to mind that has to not only contend with an administration that is against us, but a board that never had our interests at heart in the first place.

I don't want to start any fear mongering. In most programs around the country, there are competent people at least trying to accomplish better things every day. Any potential insurgents never really get that far when the people with power are the ones that care.
