Middle of October, 4-2, future looking really bright- If you had told me that in less than 2 months I would be sitting at my desk watching the death of UAB football I would have told you that you got hold of a bad hit of acid. Unbelievable. This is like living in a dream.

Words fail me. Maybe later when I can see straight again. This is a bad day for some blood pressure, I suspect.

It's certainly surreal that this is happening. We always knew the threat was there and after surviving the first threat I thought we were ok. However, it's now easy to trace back every decision made and see that this has been in the works for quite a while. The only thing that didn't go according to plan was the success we had this season under a promising coach and leader.

The worst part about this is that they don't answer to anybody. If it were a public company the shareholders can sue the board. They are free to make decisions without any real repercussions. Bryant got through life on his daddy's name and reputation and has never had to answer to anybody. He's been above reproach. Hopefully karma hits him with all of its might.

I am physically sick. This was a great university. If this is true, all we have is a bunch of buildings.

He did, but I really think this was in play long before Coach Clark got here.

No doubt. But when UaB got to 4-2, things got tighter on the field.
