I know I have said this before, but wow we have such a great leader. Clark is fighting with us until the end or a new beginning.

Even if he is interviewing, that doesn't mean he's gone. It would behoove him to be looking, and if the answer from UAB is not favorable he's ahead of the curve before a bunch of jobs are filled. If he gets the right answer from UAB he can turn down whatever might be offered and have his name on and statue in front of the future UAB stadium.

He had to work the week of Thanksgiving. I'd be heading out of town this week too.

Prattville plays Hoover tomorrow in Auburn. Maybe he wanted to go support them.

Given the leak that Watts could be making an announcement later today, maybe he didn't feel like he needed to be here for it.

Maybe he already knows the decision and he's free to relax now...good or bad.

After the way this man and his staff (and subsequently, their families) have been jerked around by the administration, I think he deserves to put some feelers out. I do not doubt that he is 100% committed to UAB, but I wholeheartedly question whether UAB is 100% committed to him...

Aren't his children in school? How do you take a vacation with classes?

yeah i agree. i took it as a bad sign instantly that he left town.. he's been a great leader, but it would've been awesome to have him at the rallies. if he had come i'm sure the crowd would've swelled exponentially.
