Who said anything remotely reassembling that? Tech fans are about the only ones not acknowledging the Cajuns as a candidate, I happen to prefer USA, but you guys would be my second choice.

I know a school in Virginia that is interested. They would be perfect for you.

03-lmfao

If you want to continue to stay bowl eligible and almost win conference championships, I suggest you stay in the belt.

Tell ya what... if y'all can keep the loss to Tech next year under 28 points, you have our vote. Deal?

Boom, you got us Techster. Congrats. Overall athletic program, it isnt even close, we trash you.

Does a move to CUSA behoove any member of the Sun Belt? It seems like a lateral move at best.

Tech guys have been attempting to separate themselves for 20 years. LOL!! There has been separation alright, just not the way they wanted.

Agreed, they can have Ga State. Then they can have two Ga States next year once UNCC shows up.

Stop padding these people's egos, CUSA offers nothing if your school is serious about football.

You can take App State off whatever list you think you have. We don't want the perception garbage you be selling.

For us it reunites us with our biggest rival La Tech. We have played each other close to 90 times. It also gives us 3 easy road trips to Ruston, Houston and Hattiesburg. We have a huge alumni base in Houston which could lead to a bump in overall fundraising.

We would like to keep relationships with some Sun Belt programs if we were to get the invite, but it hasn't happened yet so let's reign this in a bit.

We've still yet to see a single thing out of Arkansas State that hasn't taken a pot shot at CUSA in some way. If we are interested, it would have to literally mean that we have changed our course of thought entirely the last few months.

It's not. At present, they have more bowl tie ins, a better TV package, and if I'm not mistaken, a better pay out per school. And for TX ST, in-state programs to play. At present, we're on an island in the Belt. Not that it matters, we ain't going anywhere anytime soon, but you did ask the question. ... .04-cheers

Like that's never happened before.

Your blood pressure has to be pegging with this new development and even the slightest hint that A-State might even remotely be in the discussion. I see you've already been Nega-pimping the CUSA board.

Just an FYI, by the time any new program moved in, their TV contract will have expired.

I'd have a lot of crow to eat if we moved...so yeah, I'd rather we not.

This. As far as CUSA west is concerned, every trip besides el paso would be 6 hours or less from lafayette...

And in all likelihood be replaced by one that's still better than the Belt's. Here in San Antonio, it makes me sick that I've gotta see NutsaCK on an ESPN every week, not only do they run their games live, they also run rebroadcasts. While I have to catch my Bobcats on ESPN 3 (if lucky) . . . . And have to continually refresh the feed
. . Just sayin'. . . . .
