There are a lot of moving parts here. One of them is personal contract discussions, "Money talk."

No place for chicken little. Chicken little just needs to go down to Hattiesburg and root for the team.

We are Blazers! You Brian Mackin are not a Blazer. Turn in your green and gold and get the hell out

I'm not Brian's biggest supporter, but to say he's not a Blazer because he won't fall on his sword (in public) is not fair. You have no idea what he's doing (or not doing) to save football.

Someone else eluded to the "facts" about this situation, of which there are very few. Let's hold off on building the gallows for all the "non-Blazers" until the facts come out.

If you read between the lines, then you can tell the rumors are correct. My coach has made his demands. The ball is now in Mackin's court. As usual, he will do what is best for UAB football. Which means he will fumble it. So in a way, tibber is right. Clark is gone. Guess I won't have to worry about renewing my season tickets.

I had cooled on Mackin when he hired Clark. Now, in a couple of days, I'm going to fire up the Fire Mackin train.

That's how I read it. All the b******* have to do is stall and he'll move on, and they will have killed UAB Football. No decent coach will come here in the aftermath, you might as well pull the plug then.

I'll be saving money on season tickets and donations. Maybe we'll take a nice trip next year.

We were coming back from the UAB-Kentucky game that was played at Freedom Hall in Louisville. December 14, 2007, a date we'll remember deep in our bones.

There's no "we" in Mackin aka the cowardly lion. When you have a dynamic coach and an exciting team you maintain it by getting that extension done. I personally hope all this silence is part of a huge surprise that leaves me happily apologizing .I've never seen nonsense like this. Forget the extension for a second...

I'd settle right now for just SOME sort of talk about UAB Football in the future tense. We haven't gotten ANY. Extension could have waited until the season's end had that been the case.

But they've been cowardly, little men with no backbone to speak of.
