Just interested to see how many times other teams have had to fly this year.

Ga. Southern has flown 4 times: To New Mexico St., to Texas St., to Navy, and to South Alabama.

All of those make sense although South Alabama is probably within "bus" distance. Going to Mobile is probably about the same as going to Boone from Statesboro, maybe a little further.

Something tells me Idaho will win this one.

We flew to:

Tennessee
Miami
Georgia State
UL-Lafayette
Idaho
Texas State

(In short, every road game) I think the only games we bus to are UL-Monroe and whenever we play Memphis.

We flew to 4 of 7. We bused to N.C. State, Ga. State and Ga. Tech.

I think we flew to all but ULM.

Texas St has flown to every road game I believe. Not sure about ULM but I'm certain they did.

I believe CWF said he wanted to fly to that one since we had a short turnaround of our first Thursday night coming up right after that.

They have flown to every away game. They've posted pictures, on twitter, every time they've settled into their plane.

In the SLC, I know that we bussed to UCA, NWS and SELA. Those were some awful road trips. We is FBS now. No bussin' if we can help it.

How they'll handle those games for basketball, baseball/softball, I'm not sure.

We bussed to Statesboro and Troy. Since it was fall break, the team bussed to Atlanta on Thursday, then to Troy on Friday. Then bussed the entire way back after the game. I was told the time it takes to fly to Troy including bussing to and from airports and loading is around the same time it would take to bus there. To fly we have to bus an hour to Hickory.

We flew four times this year. Michigan, So Miss, stAte and tomorrow to Lafayette.

We actually just got this plane that was used as a charter for a major league baseball team just in time for the Washington trip.
