With 6 bowl tie ins for CUSA a 6-6 team will go bowling. Add to that it would be the New Mexico bowl and you can all but bet UTEP will be in at 6-6.

I am glad you think UTEP will finish 7-5. I think it is a possibility as well. You stated that a 6-6 UTEP team will not get a bowl invite is where I disagree. The New Mexico Bowl would love to have UTEP. Their highest attended game without UNM in it was the UTEP-BYU game and it really isn't close. No other CUSA team will bring as many fans to the New Mexico Bowl.

I think last year middle tenn went 7-5 and didn't get picked.

But are they the same fans? I know av lot of utep basketball fans that won't go to a football game. I personally love utep football but won't set foot in the Don as long as Fraud is there.

Just to be clear. I was simply pointing out that Basketball fans and Football fans are not one in the same. If UTEP makes it to the New Mexico Bowl, I don't think a televised Miner basketball game vs. Arizona is going to make much of a difference.
