They are very good at it. You can score on them, but you have to drive down the field.

Or spread the field and get them out of their gaps :)

That we can do. But we'll still have to do far better than you guys did in the Red Zone.

Maybe a few fake punts will loosen them up.

Try a play where a guy acts like he died of a heart attack right there on the field. That's bound to work.

Already tried that. A couple Miami fans thought we were making fun of heart attack victims.

Honestly I know it's cliche but I really think this game is gonna come down to who scores more points.

I have this feeling that S. Alabama will view this game as fighting for their post-season lives.

Frankly, I don't see us winning the day unless Floyd is much better than advertised. Maleki is a huge part of our defense.

I agree. Either Floyd will have to play out of his mind or Bridge is actually healthy and able to run the spread option effectively against ASU's smaller defense.

How about a fake punt from our 5 where a really short guy we have hidden behind the snapper throws the ball to a kicker pretending that he's making love to a chicken.

Considering we haven't played a home game in over a month, I'm thrilled to be at home, I am not thrilled however with it being the opening day of Deer season, which could have a significant impact on our attendance.

I hate to say it, but I'm starting to lose faith in this team. We have a very bad offense that occasionally lights it up.

I think, at best, we finish 6-6, unless something changes on the offensive front.

The Jags still have a lot of fight left in 'em and I'm not about to give up on them now. South could very well win this one and the TXST game.

You guys have the best WR core in the conference, get the ball to them. I understand Bridges is talented, but he is not consistant throwing the football. Floyd might be too young at this point, but he is way more accurate throwing the football. If Bridges plays, I would replace him quickly if he gets off to a bad start.

Don't worry. Bridge was on the bus.

I thought Floyd played much better than Bridges. Sure didn't seem like he lacked poise.

He is a junior who transferred from USF, he isn't a freshman

Bridge (not Bridges) is much better running the read option. Floyd looks like he has better touch, but he's also shown a tendency to throw to the wrong guy across the middle.

Bridge looks like Cam Newton but he is soft as a Fig Newton. Who cares if he can run the Zone Read? How did that work out of South Al last week? He folds like a cheap lawn chair once he gets hit a few times.

Best WRs in the Sun Belt reside in Jonesboro. I don't care how many stars USA's kids got out of high school. stAte is loaded at WR. And they'll all be back next year.

Congrats stAte. You were the better team for sure. We had too many injuries, but with the effort we showed today you win going away anyway. We struggled on offense (see Kent State, MSU, GS, and GSU) and stAte is not the team to struggle against.

We'll get you next year! lol

Good game Skully. We're all down a few starters from the beginning of the year, but losing your QB is tough.
