Does Idaho have a chance in this one?

We (GS) really need Idaho to hand them a loss and leave SDSU two wins away from bowl eligibility with Boise State and Air Force still left to play.

I think there is a chance but I'm not expecting a victory. I don't think that SDSU is much more talented than Arkansas State and we played competitively with them for 3 and a half quarters.

You think SDSU is better than Utah State? SDSU hasn't beaten anyone. stAte was a 16 point favorite over Idaho and they won by 16. San Diego State is a 21 point favorite. A 4 point spread difference, considering the long travel for stAte doesn't support your statement of them being much more talented.

If Idaho doesn't implode they have a chance against SDSU. I bet you play them closer than 21 points.

I really hope you win. Our beating a good Utah St. team and Idaho beating a decent SDSU team would be great for the SBC to have those wins over the MWC.

Sorry man, I totally jumped the gun. I guess message boards are making me paranoid. Go get them this week. An Idaho win will really help our conference perception.

Don't know about how Idaho would compare, guessing they wouldn't really fall into this but when we played SDSU in the Nola bowl, our team speed was vastly superior to theirs. Now we have gotten bigger and stronger since that team and aren't quite as fast overall but we were a lot faster than them.

I am with you on that maybe we can keep turnovers to seven or less.

I'd prefer Boise not to be in play. They're barely getting top 25 votes (5 from USA today) and people around here act like they're in the playoff picture.
