Lost tonight 67-61. Coach Norton's daughter scored 24 for Truman State. Wish she was playing for us.

Injuries are major factor. 3 ladies not dressed and another dressed who is not cleared to play. All expected to be major contributors, Played a lot of freshmen(guards) tonight with 3 & 4 guard offenses. No real continuity; frosh played like it offensively, lost on defense at times. The team will be much better come tournament time...assuming all are well.

In time, they will definitely be better.

On the bright side, concessions made a big upgrade this year:



These McAlister signs were up at 3 of the concession stands (two nearest the main entrance and the one behind the visitor's bench). They also had two concession stands open for the women's game, first time I've ever seen that.

Only negative that I've seen is that my meal tonight was $8, but that was before tax, so $8.80. No big deal tonight, but when it's a big crowd, that will probably be a hassle. It looks like there are supposed to be separate "cash" and "credit/debit" lines at the concession stands, so maybe that will help.

Fantastic! Definitely giving this a shot Friday night if they're up and running.

I'm sorry, but Truman is a TERRIBLE women's basketball program. If we can't beat them with our worst bench players, this team is going to have a miserable season against real competition.
