Did you like it? If you did, there's a ton of Lantern stuff by Geoff Johns you'd probably enjoy (starting with Rebirth, I'd say).

Yeah it was great. I've looked at grabbing some of his other stuff but never did. I've thought about finishing the Blackest Night spinoffs and into Brightest Day.

BTH can probably give a better rundown of what's worth pursuing in his run, but I can tell you that I enjoyed Rebirth. It's what brough Hal Jordan back and laid the groundwork for a ton of Johns' GL mythology.

EDIT: Are you a comic fan in general, by the way?

I've been getting into it more. I've always been a fan of the movies or shows from when I was a kid but got into reading more recently.

Gotcha. I have a friend who was the same way...a huge superhero fan since childhood but never dove into comics. It took getting around a bunch of geeks in college and beyond for him to see what was out there!

I can tell if you really want the comic world is so deep it's easy to get overwhelmed with options. I like a lot of the JLA stuff cause it kind of blends the individuals into one story so it's less to keep up with. But so many stories have timelines that go back a ways so even then you can peel back to origins. But at some point you have to start somewhere. I've read some off the DC/Marvel path but I tend to perfer DC stuff.

I know this is not exactly in keeping with the idea behind this thread but a websight called thesilverlantern.com is interesting to me. It is dedicated to the silver age of comics...1956-1970. It talks about the comics plus interviews with some of the creators. Not for everyone but there it is.
