Good luck to him. Maybe he will turn out differently than the other recruits that Grant has brought to Alabama.

This staff just can't seem to close the deal on big-time high school recruits for the back-court.

The fact that a CUSA school was this far in the running is pretty impressive.

Is there something about an Athletic department that spends about $200,000 annually per athlete that might turn a guy's head? Have you ever seen Donald Trump or other big spender with any other than beautiful girl friend? Sec of State Kissinger once said that "Power is the ultimate aphrodesiac" and the "P" in P5 stands for Power.

Could he just see a loaded backcourt and see he might play more elsewhere? We have a lot of depth at the guard position at this point(although we don't know a ton about what we have), and we are young. This was the one guy Haase really wanted, and we missed. I would've enjoyed having him, but Haase always has about 6 backup plans.

Well its time he use one. Hopefully a freshman seven footer.

Yep. Alabama will have a lot of PT available at the guard/wing spot. They'll probably sign a couple more guards who can also "play from day 1"...

Lamonte Turner 4* guard from Sparkman, and Tommy Burton 3* foward from Montgomery still available. Still plenty of talent on the board. Who knows maybe Watts/Baxter will fill the shoes and we won't even need a PG!

That's disappointing. Hopefully it was just due to playing time. He did have several guards in front of him. I am hoping for Burton regardless. Maybe now he will be the focus. More PT is available for big men and we need some youth in this class.

I'm with you here. I know we aren't likely to get a seven footer, but I'll take a young guy around 7 feet.

Oh please, cease your logic! It was only a fat sack of cold, hard, Crimson Tide cash that ever could have swayed his decision. (Blue Font)
