Happy homecoming.

Not trying to pile on here, but were there really 5000 Ga. St. fans present? Maybe some were sitting in boxes or something but it really looked like about 500 on TV. The conference isn't only about football and Ga. St. really contributed last year in basketball but I can't see the football program ever being up to standard with such little support.

17,600 is to be expected after a 0-5 start. Actually I expected worse.

haha. you guys kill me. you either listen to that old ODU fan who sticks his nose in all things JMU way too much or have got some bad info.

i'll trust my info from the inside more than an outsiders.

This would make sense since the MAC has shut the door on expansion and CUSA is at 14 teams. CUSA media contract is through 2015-16. It will be interesting to see what they get. The Sun Belt will have some good info for your next contract with the MAC having theirs and next year assume CUSA will have theirs as well.

That is one positive that bodes well for the conference moving forward.

Interesting that it appears the attendance for NT, MTSU,WKU,FIU,FAU is no better in CUSA than in the SBC. In fact, it may be worse. It would appear that to the casual fan, the new mix of teams offers no improvement.

FIU 11,510
Fla. Atlantic 14,020

Sadly our number will finish a lot closer to 20,000 at the end of the season.

Not having those marquee games late in the season at home will hurt.

The Saturday game Thanksgiving weekend is going to kill us. It does every year.

Students will all be back in Atlanta watching on ESPN3, eating leftovers and drinking their parents booze. I'll be happy if 15,000 are at Paulson.
