Haha! I just pull out words like that to try to sound all academic now and then. I actually checked out the Wikipedia page for the muon now and realized that it decays pretty slowly for an unstable subatomeic particle. So for a lot of folks, I probably came across as pretty stupid there. (That's why I chose to study biology; I'm not smart enough for this stuff...)
