Well...animals get sick too see...

As for what you are talking about, I think it goes back to the one Spanish case of Ebola in which a nurse got it. Spain took the unusual step of putting the family dog down because apparently Dogs can catch Ebola but not become sick.

Thing is...there is no proof that a human can catch Ebola from a dog. Most of the time our viruses come from Monkeys, Pigs, and Birds.
