Defensive Struggle?
How big will attendance be? How many Cajuns are making the trip?
How many turnovers/penalties?
Any social media challenges haha?
What are strengths/weaknesses for Cajun squad?
What are strengths/weaknesses for Bobcat squad?
How many times will ESPN commentators botched facts during their commentary?

Why did Elijah McGuire only get 6 carries vs GSU? Did he get hurt?

we could really use a rival.. so a win for us in this one on national tv would be sweet.

as I've said before, Texas State - Louisiana has a sexy sound to it. would be great if we could work something out between schools to promote it every year... if Louisiana is even interested of course.

He tweaked his toe. Nothing that 9 days off won't fix.

I like the idea, easy drive for both fan bases, I find our most fun rivalries have always had to involve baseball. The football rivalry to me is always intensified by baseball and basketball too I guess. Texas state has a baseball program that I think will usually make for a great series every year.

Umm, home game being shown on national tv. You can bet your ass we are preparing for everything and everyone. Can't afford to lose this game, we need to start the winning streak and begin making some noise.

This year? The weakness has been football.

Seriously, the only real strengths I have seen so far are the DL and Jamal Robinson.

Weaknesses are innumerable. QB play has ranged from horrible to fair. We can't run the ball because our QB can't throw it more than 10 yards and hit anything with it [except Jamal Robinson, who could make me look good at QB].

Neither Harris nor McGuire has had more than a run or two this year where they have not had to break a tackle in the backfield to make a yard. This is not an OL issue, just a result of teams being able to stack the box, since we can't or won't throw the ball down the field.

Defensively, our coaches run a scheme which prevents us from having any success at all against the pass. If my Grandma played WR for the other team, we would give her an 8 yard cushion. A random student in the stands could be the QB for you guys and he would complete 70% of his passes.

Other than that, we have been great.

Well, as bad as it's been I saw a team that made some good progress last Saturday night and certainly hope it carries forward. I think we've got most of the tools we need, just hope we can put it all together on both sides of the line. It won't be an easy game to win.

November 1st seems like a great day to put it all together to me. You should continue stinking until then.

I'll be at this game, hopefully we have a decent crowd.

Boudreaux, in his usual highly inebriated state, accidentally stumbled into the church building Saturday afternoon, trips his way into the confessional and sits down. The Priest, there of course to hear confession hears nothing so he coughs to let Boudreaux know that he is ready to listen to him, but still hears nothing. He then knocks on the wall separating them, and Boudreaux tells him, “Sorry but dey ain’t no paper in dis one neither!”

Ready to watch the Bobcats payback the beating they took last year. Team was never the same after that loss. I was worried about Broadway headed into the season but he seems harmless now.

I'll actually be stuck in Louisiana for work next week so I won't be able to make the game. I'll most likely be in the Kinder or Lake Chars area. May have to swing by a casino to watch the game.

Yes, he is harmless. The Bobcats would be better served spending this week and next preparing for ULM.

Is the Cajun QB playing with some kind of injury or something? I mean, kid was great last year, and this year, he seems to be playing so erratically.

Just curious if he's in his own head or if it's a physical limitation that maybe he's downplaying...

Td State wins this one. I think the Bobcats are bowl bound.

Product of Georgia State, or product of a significant improvement out of Broadway?

No doubt the level of competition plays a role in any qb's stats and I'm sure Broadway's were helped by our opponent. But what I saw that I really liked is that the Cajuns didn't fold even though there were ample opportunities to just quit.

Lots of receivers participated in the passing attack, decent ground game, long drives, back up qb came in late in the game and put us in a position to win, etc etc. I'm hoping we've turned the corner.
