Ga.State vs AState
Can someone give me the start time for this game? Coming into Atlanta on I-20 from South Carolina, how is the best way to the stadium. Any tips/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Continue on Spring St SW. Drive to Andrew Young International Blvd NW
1.0 mi / 4 min

Turn right onto Spring St SW
0.6 mi

Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr Dr SW
0.2 mi

Take the 1st right onto Centennial Olympic Park Dr NW
0.1 mi

Take the 1st left onto Andrew Young International Blvd NW
0.1 mi

I'm guessing that we will win 34-31....that seems to be the trend, right...?

If you are coming to Atlanta to tailgate there won't be any issue finding parking around the dome or you can take MARTA in from any station that has parking, see map

Um...big issues with parking. They are building another stadium. Park in the Red Deck or if you want to go by some tailgates park in the Blue, Yellow lots or Gold Deck off Northside Drive

Unless there there is something else going on at the same time there is plenty of parking around the dome, aside from the sanctioned lots I don't know if the private lots around dome are available

There is no issue with parking

Yes. Plenty of spots. But also...Yes. Parking can be difficult due to roads closed and lots closed. And if you are a stranger to Atlanta, your route may have to return to the 80s and detour. Best to head to the Dome website http://www.gadome.com for the best info on parking and routes.

RE: Ga.State vs AState
Anderson was asked for the 3rd time this week today how the team is preparing to deal with the lack of fans at Georgia State games. I understand the questions because we were pretty awful playing at FIU over the years, but it is amusing watching him attempting to answer the question without creating bulletin board material.

I once got to talk to a former ECU player who said that Tulane was by far the hardest place he played in CUSA because the combination of low noise and the difference in backdrop and lighting indoors was hard to adjust to. Said it was worse than playing some place that was noisy and worse than the quiet at UAB because being outdoors was different.

He felt like a quieter place was tougher because it was harder to stay focused and said Tulane had a couple hilarious students with crazy smack talk who had done their homework on players and you could hear everything they said. Said it was what he imagined it would be like being heckled as a stand-up comic in a club.

Listen to Stan. Private lots are available. But yes you can easily make a left turn and end up on the construction side of the Dome. If you are going directly to stadium and bypassing the tailgating your best bet and closest parking will be in the Red Deck. You can take Mitchell Street to Mangum and the Mangum Street approach takes you directly to the Red Deck from the South side of the stadium. From the North side (Marietta St. , Ivan Allen Boulevard, Centennial Park area) you can take Ivan Allen towards the Georgia World Congress center parking area and take the Dome Service Road to the Red Deck.
