Need to get off to a good early start and punch it into the endzone when we are deep in BSU territory. Do not leave it up to special teams.

If we can win this one, and maybe NIU and/or Toledo (in-conf; hope they beat ISU) stub their toes, could get exciting!

I was down there 2 years ago, we seemed to have the game in hand but they pounded the ball late and we folded. Got to learn to finish when the game is on the line. Need to learn to win. This is the game to do that. Especially after the way we lost Toledo.

Yeah, we need this one for a confidence sake and some good momentum. Even though BGSU might not be the powerhouse many thought entering the season, playing there the following weekend will still be a difficult task.

(...and again, 5 of our first 7 games on the road? blech.)

Agree - and I understand the concerns about how we'll bounce back after last week's tough loss. But if there's one MAC West team that's been a pleasant surprise so far this season, it's us - and if there's one MAC West team that's been a disappointment, it's Ball State. I think that trend continues. We get it done on the road.

* We miss another FG & XP, but a long FG attempt by BSU to push it to OT fails. BSU's D, and their strong running game making the clock tick, helps keep us under 30.

I'll be very disappointed if we don't leave Muncie with a win. BSU is struggling so we catch them at a good time.
