Week 6 power rankings
1. stAte - strong second half on the road

2. GS - started slow but find the right gear after the half

3. USA - crushed App on the road

4. TXST - gave up another lead but got the win

5. ULM - fought hard in their loss

6. UL - ugly win but and win is a win for them at this point

7. Idaho - looking good on offense. Three big play sank them

8. GSU - another close loss for the Panthers. So close to that elusive win

9. NMSU - started good on defense but QB had some sloppy play and GS pulled away

10. App St - biggest home loss in decades. Young team transitioning. They will learn and improve

11. Troy - didn't play or win

I think NMSU deserves to be way higher. the score could have easily been the other way around

I've got you guys ahead of App, Georgia State, Troy, and Idaho in mine. I'm not quite sure I can put you ahead of the Cajuns yet, no matter how hard they tried to lose to Georgia State.

I could see that but Idaho and GSU played closer at the end the game. I was impressed with the Aggies today.

I feel like we can compete with the top of the sun belt. After seeing us perform very lethargically against GS and still only lose 36-28 I have hope that my Aggies will rise to the top. I feel like at this point we are maybe like a ULM.

Thanks. That was our worst played game of the year, by far, but we still squeaked it out. Impressed by your team.

Our league is sooo weak this year.

As bad as Troy is, I think since the league is so weak we could get 3 or 4 wins if we play as well as we did at ULM.

I feel lucky to get out of NMSU with the W. If we play like we did tonight again I think we will lose. Still 36 is more than 28 so I'll take the win. Hail Southern!

Good game Aggies!

You should mention that to a few of our Eastern schools who wouldn't consider you this past Spring.

RE: Week 6 power rankings
When they are playing like they are capable, the top 3 teams in this league reside in Jonesboro, Statesboro, and Mobile. When they are not playing well though, anyone can beat anyone.
